Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
This file includes data on the experiment performed in 2005. This experiment tested the influence of temperature during gestation on the parturition date of the common lizard. The variable DATE is the number of days since July 1, IDENTITY is the female identity, and TEMPERATURE reports the three experimental groups: A = warm group, B = intermediate-heat group, C = cold group.
