Effect of inbreeding depression on (a) the fertilization probability of the last ovule produced for outcrossing and (b) the optimal size of outcrossed seeds when mixed mating has been selected. Optimal size of selfed seeds equals that of outcrossed seeds when inbreeding depression equals 0.5. Values chosen: d = 0.01, Sm = 0.0001, and fmax = 1000 for expensive ovules and fmax = 10000 for cheap ovules.
