Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
Data were collected from a total of 56, 1 m x 1 m patches planted to various combinations of perennial grassland species in central Texas, USA. Data were collected during years 2008-2012 and include aboveground net primary productivity (g/m2) and species abundance-weighted (community-weighted) values of specific leaf area (m2 leaf area per kg dry weight).
