Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
The table lists 1,177 urban metrics and their specific categorizations, collected from a survey of urban wildlife studies published between 2012 and 2016. Column abbreviations: com_type = component type; com_s_type = component subtype; meth_cat_con = whether method was categorical or continuous; prop_hr = ratio of metric spatial scale to species' typical home range.
