Datasets usually provide raw data for analysis. This raw data often comes in spreadsheet form, but can be any collection of data, on which analysis can be performed.
The alignment file used to reconstruct the phylogenetic relationships of the plants representing the two morphs using maximum likelihood (ML) analysis in RAxML. SNPs were concatenated and converted to FASTA format (4274 SNPs). The sequence data corresponding to the SNP locations on the reference genome of S. fallax was extracted using a custom R script to be used as outgroup.
